Kamil Lygas

I am Kamil Lygas, a Senior Enterprise Architect Manager with more than 19 years in IT. My background spans Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and Citrix Cloud, with a sustained focus on designing cloud foundations that are secure, supportable and useful to delivery teams.

As a Lead Azure Architect, I have worked on enterprise platform architecture for global, multi-tenant Azure platforms and product environments. That work involves making deliberate decisions about landing zones, subscription and management group design, network connectivity, identity, policy, operational ownership and the boundaries that allow multiple teams to work safely on a shared platform.

My current architectural interests include Azure Landing Zones for sovereign and regulated workloads, platform engineering, enterprise Azure networking and private DNS at scale, Azure Virtual Desktop, and infrastructure as code with Terraform. I am particularly interested in governance that is implemented as repeatable engineering: policy-as-code, automated controls, auditable deployments and clear platform contracts.

Previously, experience across Azure, Microsoft 365 and Citrix Cloud provided a practical view of user services, identity and hybrid enterprise environments. It continues to inform how I approach secure cloud governance and operational reality rather than architecture in isolation.
